Great review guys! I have to say the book is beautiful. It has been sitting on my desk since it came out. I can't bring myself to put it on my bookshelf as I just enjoy looking at it.

It is also a great set of rules. I don't know if I'll ever get a chance to play it, but I hope I do! It is a quick read as well. Skipping spells and monsters, it took next to no time to read through the book, and that was on a .pdf.

Yup, like I think I mentioned on the 'cast if you ignore spells and monsters its maybe 30-odd digest sized pages at most? They're a quick read, and while I'm iffy on the armor rules I'd like to try them out first just to see if its a real issue or I'm just being a grumpy grog. ;)

We know you're just being a grog! haha.

I have the same concern about the armor rules. It is the one thing that I question. I nearly got a friend to run Hero's Journey, but the rest of the group wanted star wars so I won't get to try it any time soon.
