Save or Die on Hiatus
« on: February 02, 2016, 05:48:06 PM »

Dear fans of Save or Die,

We Dmigoes have always done our best to keep the community informed of events here at SoD headquarters, especially if there are any hiccups to our schedule. In this regard, we have to say that the Podcast will be on hiatus until sometime in March 2016. We will do our best to get back on schedule at that time, and if the delay is longer we will certainly keep you apprised of the situation.

We hate to do this, but we’ve all had sudden obligations that curtail our participation in the Podcast for the next few weeks. Between Liz’s voice acting classes, Jim’s work on GaryCon and MCC, and Mike’s recent additional load of classes we just can’t meet the schedule we’ve tried to keep up over the past couple of years.

Fear not, this is NOT the end of Save or Die…Just a small break. Thank you all for your loyalty to our Podcast and we look forward to sending you our thoughts (and Mike’s “Bah!”s!) soon.

The Dmigoes
DM Mike, DM Liz, DM Jim

No! How could you abandoned us?  :) Take your time guys. I will be eagerly awaiting a new episode. Also, have you guys check out the B/X Psionic Handbook by New Big Dragon Games? Might be worth a review.

I've got to second that B/X Psionic Handbook. I nearly bought everything on their site the other day, but held off for the time being. Definitely interested in a review!

Thanks for the kind words guys, it is appreciated!

As for new OSR product reviews, you should bug the publisher to send us a review copy if you want something reviewed. Its hard eough to keep up with the classic stuff ($$$) and we don't have a budget to do the show or anything. ;)

I sent Richard a ping about this thread. Trying to get you a review copy. He creates some amazing B/X and LL material.

Hope everything goes well with everyone's projects.
I would rather have you post them when you can, than have you guys try to rush through an episode. I know you all research you subject matter as best you can, and that takes a lot of time and patience.
Thanks for the heads-up!

Totally understand, and am grateful for the heads up. You know it is actually a good thing because it gives us time to go through the back log of episodes to find new stuff to write in about. he he he.

Will be writing in to the show to welcome you guys back for the first show back. Look forward to seeing what you guys and gal have in store for us. Maybe another Save for Half episode?

Fear not, this is NOT the end of Save or Die…

However, with the pace of episodes over the past 6 months, I fear that Save for Half is stillborn.
I understand that real life gets busy, though.

Actually Longfoot, the next recording we'd planned to do prior to the decision for the hiatus was SFH on Gamma World. We'll probably do a SoD first once we get back, but SFH is not stillborn. Just cooking a bit longer than expected. ;)
