dmcourtemanche:
Hi, guys. After a few months without internet, I'm finally able to get back to business. Just wanted to let you know I  got some great ideas and some good laughs out of your comments regarding the XP issue. In fact, I went back and refreshed myself on the 2nd edition application of experience points and restructured things to be more in accordance with the game mechanics. I used to be good at that sort of thing. One of the things that made streamlining a necessity with the groups for whom I've run games is that I have often been running every edition of D&D, in addition to Gamma World, Star Frontiers, and Call Of Cthulhu - the last of which gives me a break from noting level increases. So I've ended up in the regrettable self-imposed trap of simplifying things. Fortunately, I haven't had players take advantage. BUT I can see where it could become an issue for me. So I found your thoughts helpful and wanted to take a few minutes to thank you for the attention to that letter.

Now make some more episodes!!
