Far Away Land RPG Adventures

Hi folks.

I discovered the Far Away Land RPG Adventures series of modules today on DTRPG - all 'pay what you want' priced.  They are short modules with funny, evocative art.  These modules are apparently produced in support of the Far Away Land RPG, which I confess I am unfamiliar with.  Still, the funny titles, art and classic game ideas look like they are going to be a lot of fun to read.

Anyone else seen these?

Seen them, but haven't picked them up. Vince did a short lived podcast on Far Away Land, maybe he covered some?

I picked up one module out of curiosity, "Isle of the Rat Wizard"

Found it basically totally incomplete & lacking any substance.

All it had was an island with a skull mountain & one small map that was not even grid-ed out so the DM can draw it correctly or even use on virtual tabletops.

It said there was this group of Ratlings here & a village of Hallo there & that there was a hermit Ratling Wizard, in the skull mountain & that was basically it.

The descriptions are lacking in substance, and there is a sever lack of maps and even artwork.

I can't call this a game module, it's just an outline with vague ideas for one, that needs a lot of work to make it a game module.

One of the laziest excuse for game publishing I have ever seen.

Sorry I wasted your time.

I just looked at that one, and I agree it is thin.  The modules are all 5-10 pages long, so I expected something like this.  A cartoony map and a setup was enough for me, especially as payment is optional for these modules and the art is fun.  It was the art that I saw that drew me to these.

I looked at the art again....it's only 2 images ! The Cover being used twice, wasting space ! Sigh.
