WEG Star Wars 1e
« on: April 29, 2016, 03:03:02 PM »
So this guy on Dragonsfoot put up this awesome thread about WEG Star Wars I knew some of you would enjoy.

Read here: http://www.dragonsfoot.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=73871

Makes me want to play some more Star Wars d6. For whatever my GM seems burnt out on it.

Just a heads up, some of the guys behind REUP (Revised, Expanded, and Updated) came out with a redone version of star wars 1e that is pretty nice too!

They call is Classic Adventures

Nice FJW, Classic Adventures came out pretty well. Next time I run Star Wars d6, I'll more likely use it than REUP, but both are excellent. I ended up getting hardbacks off lulu for each.

Did you get hard covers of all the 1e books?

I still have never run d6 SW. I would like to some day. I am kind of torn between d6 and the FFG SW. I really like the dice system from the FFG game but I really like the way d6 handles the force.

The team behind Classic Adventurers originally released them as staplebound books, 4 of the set. I had all 4 printed, then when they made the compilation I had the hardback done as well. All through lulu.

I haven't looked at FFG SW, but a lot of the adventures have been modified to d6 already and have played in some of those. I'm interested in picking up FFG as well. I mostly play online nowadays and am worried the dice might be a bit trickier to do online.
